www.instagram.com/nnakarestaurantChef:  Niki NakayamaOverview:  N/naka is a two-star Michelin rated restaurant owned by Japanese chef Niki Nakayama.

In previous sections, we talked about creating content for audiences at all levels of the customer journey.  To help algorithms know when to present your content, you need to use the appropriate keywords.

The dishes at n/naka restaurant are gorgeous.  Minimalist, and colorful, they are actually quite breathtaking.

Often a restaurant will only post photos of their food.  However, n/naka is using their instagram feed not only to display their gorgeous plates, but also to create a connection between their audience and the chef.  News and articles that feature the restaurant are posted, as well as interviews and collaborations done by the chef.

You will note, if you examine their feed, that the beautiful photos have lots of foodie hashtags on them so that they are found or put into people’s “for you” feed.  However, the news and updates posts have few if any hashtags, as the intended audience is just subscribers.  When you are creating social media content that is clearly focused on your current followers and their desire to build a stronger relationship with you, will maintain that loyalty, and begin to turn them into advocates.
